Floada Answer — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Floada Answer is operated by 684375 N.B. Inc., doing business as Floada ("we", "us"), New Brunswick, Canada. Contact: answer@floada.ca.
Floada Answer gives your AI agent its own phone number so it can make and answer calls and texts for you. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. What we collect
From you (the account holder): your name, email address and mobile number; the name you give your agent; your contact list (the people your agent may call or text, or take calls from); memories, notes and briefings you or your connected AI give the agent; your plan and billing status; and the date and version of the Terms you agreed to.
When your agent makes or takes calls and texts:
- the phone numbers involved, times, durations and outcomes;
- a written transcript of each call and the agent's report (for example, "order confirmed, ready at 6");
- the content of text messages sent and received on your line.
Transcripts, reports and texts are stored for you: you can see them in your portal, and your connected AI can read them. Our staff can't see them (see section 7).
We do not record call audio. Live audio is processed in real time to run the conversation and produce the transcript; only the transcript is kept.
Payments: card details are entered on and stored by our payment processor. We do not see or store your card number — only customer and subscription identifiers and billing events. Your agent does not give or take payment card numbers or bank details on calls or texts.
Technical: we use one sign-in cookie for your portal session (7 days). We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on our site. Your IP address is used briefly to prevent abuse (rate limiting) and is not stored in our database.
2. Information about other people
Your agent talks to other people on your behalf, so call transcripts and texts include what they say and their phone numbers. You are responsible for using Floada Answer lawfully, including any notice or consent your local laws require for the calls and texts you ask your agent to make. By default, your agent says it is an AI assistant calling on your behalf at the start of calls it makes to anyone other than you. You can turn that wording off in your portal where your local law allows; your agent will still confirm it is an AI if asked. Floada Answer is not designed to hold health records. Don't use it to manage other people's health, legal or financial information as part of a regulated practice unless we have agreed to it in writing.
3. How we use it
- to run your line: place and answer calls and texts, follow your instructions and report results to you and your connected AI;
- to provide your portal, call history and notifications;
- to bill you and prevent fraud or abuse;
- to support you, keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use your calls or texts for advertising.
4. Who we share it with (service providers)
We use trusted service providers to run Floada Answer. Each receives only what it needs:
| Type of provider | Purpose | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Phone carrier | phone numbers, calls and texts | call audio, phone numbers, text messages |
| AI voice and language provider | the agent's voice, understanding and transcription | live call audio, your agent's instructions, memories, notes and briefing |
| Cloud hosting and database | runs the service | account and call data |
| Cloud storage | storage of call records | call records and transcripts |
| Payment processor | billing | your email, billing details and card |
| Email delivery provider | account and call notification emails | your email address and the content of notifications |
Some providers process data outside Canada (for example in the United States), where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
Your connected AI: when you connect an AI agent (such as ChatGPT or Claude) or set up a webhook, the information you ask it to access — call results, transcripts, texts, notes — is sent to that service under its own privacy terms.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or security of our users or the public.
5. How long we keep it
- Call transcripts, call reports and text messages are kept for you to see in your portal and through your connected AI, and are automatically deleted 60 days after the call or message. Our staff can't see them.
- Call activity — the transactional and technical record of each call (time, length, outcome and cost) — is kept while your account is open, for billing and to keep the service running. This is what our staff can see.
- Your account details, contact list, memories and notes are kept while your account is open. You can edit or delete them at any time.
- Callback notes expire automatically (72 hours by default).
When you delete your account (Portal → Account → Delete my account), on the deletion date we release your phone number and permanently erase your account, contact list, memories, notes, call records, transcripts and texts. Some information is kept after deletion where needed: billing and tax records held by us and our payment processor as required by law, emails already delivered to you, short-lived server logs, and copies held by our providers under their own retention policies.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access keys and sign-in links are stored only in hashed form. Access to our administration tools is limited to authorized staff. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.
7. Staff access
Floada staff can see call activity — times, lengths, outcomes and billing — to run the service and support you. Our tools do not show staff the content of your calls or texts. We access stored content only if you ask us to look at a specific call, or where needed to investigate a security incident or comply with the law.
8. Your choices and rights
You can view your calls and texts in your portal, edit your contacts and notes, disconnect your AI, and delete your account at any time. You may ask us for access to or correction of your personal information by emailing answer@floada.ca. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
9. Who can use Floada Answer
Floada Answer is for adults 18 and older. When you sign up you confirm you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly provide the service to minors, and we will close any account we learn belongs to one.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
